Hey Steven et al,

I was recently asked by my pastor if I would be interested/willing to pick up guitar to help teach some worship and hymn music to our students. I committed and recently purchased two guitars, one very lightly used Ibanez SGT520 SAGE Srs ($100 shipped) and a new Spectrum - AIL123A (got on sale today for $37.00 shipped) which I was told would be suitable for a decent backup with a minor string adjustment.

I saw the advertisement of your "birthday" discount for your training on another website dedicated to high-value/low-price shopping . Here I am. My first guitar (Ibanez) just arrived, and the second should arrive sometime next week. I'm a full-time MBA student at the moment, though my summer entails a slower workload than usual, and so I plan to dedicate myself to serious practice for the next several months while I have it. I would probably say I'm most excited about being able to use the instrument in times of personal and small group worship. My background in musical instrument playing and performance is 4-5 years on the trumpet and 2 on the drums before that.

I'll try to stay in contact fairly regularly through the forums. And, thanks for your help in creating these resources.

God bless,
David
